A groomer your dog knows by name.

Meet Maiya

My Story

I'm Maiya Weber, the owner and groomer behind Fourfold Canine Wellness.

After nearly a decade of grooming experience, I've learned that grooming is about far more than how a dog looks. It's part of their health, comfort, and overall quality of life.

I started Fourfold to groom the way I believe every dog deserves: one-on-one, with individualized care, honest communication, and attention that goes deeper than the coat.

Humanity over Vanity

It's more than a saying. It's the philosophy behind everything I do.

Safety and comfort come first. Your dog's well-being guides every groom, even when that means choosing a simpler haircut or adjusting the grooming plan.

Grooming is part of good health. I pay attention to your dog's skin, coat, ears, and nails during every appointment and share anything I notice.

Honesty matters. I'll always be upfront about your dog's coat condition, grooming needs, and what I can safely accomplish, without judgment.

Every dog is an individual. From puppyhood to the golden years, I tailor my approach to the dog in front of me, recognizing that their needs may change over time.

The Four Corgis: Behind the Name

Fourfold is named after the four corgis who share my life: Pembrokes Olly and Finn, and Cardigans Gus and Arthur.

They're my companions, my teachers, and my adventure partners.

Together, we compete in agility, dock diving, Fast CAT, rally, and conformation, earning national-level placements along the way.

When we're not training or competing, you'll probably find us in the woods. We've hiked every Wisconsin State Park and are now working our way through the National Parks.

Living and training alongside my own dogs has taught me the importance of patience, curiosity, consistency, and understanding each dog's individual needs.

Those lessons influence the way I approach grooming, too.

What You Can Expect From Me

Your dog's undivided attention. One dog, one groomer, one focus. Every appointment is dedicated to the dog in front of me.

Care that respects your dog's limits. I'll adjust my approach based on what your dog can comfortably and safely tolerate. Sometimes that means modifying the groom, allowing reasonable breaks, or discussing a different plan for future appointments.

Honest conversations. I'll tell you how the appointment went, what I noticed, and anything I recommend addressing or keeping an eye on.

Support beyond the appointment. I'm happy to share grooming tips, coat care recommendations, and practical guidance to help you maintain your dog's comfort between visits.

Experience & Continued Learning

With nearly a decade of professional grooming experience, my approach is shaped by hands-on work with dogs of different breeds, coat types, temperaments, and grooming needs.

I believe good grooming requires more than technical skill. It takes patience, an understanding of canine behavior, and a willingness to keep learning.

I'm committed to continuing my education and staying informed about safe handling, grooming practices, and canine wellness so I can provide thoughtful, responsible care.

What's Next for Fourfold

Fourfold Canine Wellness is growing, with plans for a dedicated grooming space in Madison, Wisconsin.

As the business evolves, my commitment stays the same: individualized attention, honest communication, and comfort before cosmetics.

I'd Love to Meet Your Dog

Whether you're introducing a puppy to grooming, maintaining a regular routine, or looking for a more individualized experience, I'd love to learn about your dog and their needs.
